ATTENTION OKLAHOMA CITY AND NORMAN AREA AGILITY ENTHUSIASTS INTRODUCING…. COACHING
ON EVER-CHANGING AGILITY SET-UPS
It’s a unique offering -- agility coaching combined with time to practice concepts within competitive set-ups on our agility fields. No matter with whomever else you might train, this adjunct program will sharpen your competitive edge. Dennis and Kris Butler practice agility daily on the 2 agility fields at American Dog Obedience Center. Ever-changing set-ups often include advanced courses, such as courses used at AKC Agility Nationals or Excellent Courses from trials. Within courses there are always easier concepts – wonderful for less advanced dogs and handlers. And field set-ups are not always complete courses – often, set-ups are designed to address specific concepts.
Now you and your dog can take advantage of the Butlers’ creative set-ups on an “as desired” basis. It’s fun to challenge yourself and, with coaching, you can master concepts within set-ups – developing new competitive skills.
You can read about your coaches – Dennis and Kris Butler – and their amazing success in agility here.
Check the Blackboard located above and you will know what set-ups are currently offered. Simply phone or email to request an appointment. Note that we do not always check email on a daily basis.

Effective competitive dog agility programs require coaching from the broader perspective. Some of our pre-agility training is appropriate for dogs of any age. Moving ahead, even within pre-agility skills described below, a dog’s age and physical condition become important considerations which should be discussed with your veterinarian as well as your coaches Through private lessons, our Pre-Agility Program offers dogs and agility handlers a age-appropriate introductions to:
Foundation Agility Skills are taught through private lessons. A first lesson costs $100, and subsequent lessons cost $50 each. ~~~~~~~~~~~ Our agility programs focus on individual agility dog and handler needs.
